Join The House of Music Therapy on a magical musical journey as we explore the four elements in everyday life! This engaging and enriching four-week camp is designed to help participants discover the connection between music and the natural world. Through interactive and therapeutic music activities, we will delve into the four fundamental elements—earth, water, air, and fire—and how they play a vital role in our lives. Each week, we will focus on a different element, unraveling its significance and how it contributes to our well-being. From grounding rhythms to liberating melodies, from passionate expressions to harmonious connections, participants will not only learn about these elements but also experience their unique qualities through the medium of music. Our camp is tailored for the developmental population, providing a safe and inclusive space for creative expression and personal growth. While emphasizing domains such as motor development, emotional expression and regulation, and cognitive development, participants will engage in rhythm exercises, melody creation, expressive music-making, and collaborative harmonies, all while building confidence and connecting with the natural world.
