Resources for Support

Throughout these past months, our lives have been altered by unprecedented events. Not only have our families, jobs, education, and social support systems been drastically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but we are now witnesses to the largest global civil movement in history. We know firsthand how overwhelming these events are, and as we work towards becoming better-informed providers and citizens in response to these cultural changes, we’ve compiled this list of informational resources to support caregivers, providers, and clients alike. In the same way that we will continually educate ourselves on these matters, this list will also grow as we add resources to assist others. These resources include methods of discussing cultural events with children, ways to support the Black Lives Matter Movement, outlets of being an ally to the LGBTQA+ community, as well as practical information about hurricane preparedness as we enter hurricane season.

Now, more than ever, do we stress the importance of being self-informed; only through this will we be able to grow together and create a better future for our families.
